Pete Miller and Erin Hannon are co-workers who later start dating after taking an interest in each other.
Season 9[]
Pete and Erin's relationship together seemed to start to be visible in "Roy's Wedding", when Andy, who was Erin's boyfriend at the time, ordered Pete to take her out for some food. Erin and Pete seem to be talking animatedly and happily at dinner.
In "The Boat", Pete invites Erin to have a drink with him and his pals at Poor Richard's, just a few hours after Andy left Erin to sail to the Caribbean.
In "The Target", Erin's eyes seem to be glowing with adoration when Pete comforts Kevin after Kevin unintentionally destroys an elaborate paper-card tower the whole office had been working on.
Pete and Erin bond in "Dwight Christmas", where they chat about Die Hard. When both of them are watching the movie together, Erin starts to sob and when Pete puts his arm around her, she says that she's "still Andy's girlfriend." Although she assures Pete that he doesn't have to reposition himself.
In "Lice", Pete and Erin buddy up to slather mayo all over each other's scalps. Both have a blast and joke around. When Erin washes all of the deceased lice out of Pete's hair, both of them share a cute smile with one another.
Erin and Pete are partnered together on a special project by Nellie, who is instantly satisfied with their work together. In a talking head, Erin is frazzled trying to deny being "in to" Pete. The two seem to have an intricate relationship and even have a secret handshake. Kevin and Meredith, among other office workers, accuse of Erin of flirting with Pete, causing Erin to get defensive.
In "Couples Discount", Erin suddenly sees things as they are and vows to break up with Andy, calling him "rude" and "a jerk." When Andy suddenly arrives, Erin can't break up with him and apologizes to Pete, who tells Erin that she doesn't have to feel sorry and that he just wants her to feel happy. Erin is clearly moved by this and hops towards Pete, kissing him full on the lips, before charging back into Andy's office to permanently break up with him.
In the next episode, "Moving On", Erin and Pete try to keep their relationship secretive to not hurt Andy's feelings, but Andy finds out anyway and hires Gabe and Alice, who previously in relationships with Erin and Pete, respectively. This creates a cloud of awkwardness, though this does not stop Pete and Erin's dating.
Nothing more is said or seen about Erin and Pete, but they are probably still together, since they were dancing with one another at Angela and Dwight's wedding.
