Stephen Merchant is an English producer, director, and writer. He is the co-creator, alongside Ricky Gervais of the original UK Series and the US series of The Office. He co-wrote and co-directed every episode of The Office UK and wrote and directed a few episodes of The Office US. He also played Oggy, one of Gareth Keenan's friends in the episode Charity.
