Hi, I am conducting research on user activity on fandom wikia. I am trying to get responses from as many people from the fandom community as possible so is there a way to spread this survey as much as possible. The survey is quick and completely confidential and it would be extremely helpful if you could take the time to fill it out through the attached link below.
Hi Cocopuff, as you correctly assessed, I'm not exactly an active admin. While I did start Dunderpedia (and create a lot of the infrastructure for it) many years ago, my knowledge of the administrative duties is just not there, and I never really took the time to figure it out - I'm more of an editor. If I'm being completely honest, I'm not sure how to annoint new admins. Clearly, a number of other people have taken the lead in recent years. Perhaps seek out some of the other more active admins already on the wiki other than myself. Sorry I can't be of more help!
hi there thanks for taking the time to respond i would be a good admin becase i am active and have 2 years of moderating experience i wanted to warn u that there has been vandalisem around here as u been inactive and i am trying to help out with it however if u gave me content moderator i will watch over the wiki however i will link how to promote below if u gave me admin i will make sure to do my best
Hello DaHumorist, I wanted to give you some updates from Fandom! First up, we recently introduced a new feature on Fandom! Ever wanted to know what browser your readers are using? Or perhaps where your readers are from? Now you can with our new analytics feature! What I find interesting from your wikis analytics is your most searched term which is "Pam"! Your top viewed page is Michael Scott, so it's a good idea to keep that page updated! You can access analytics on the Special:Analytics page. If you'd like to do some more reading on this feature, we have a great Blog Post and Help page to help you get started with this feature! Feel free to also ask away and share your cool findings in our analytics channel on our Official Fandom/Gamepedia Discord Server! You can also let me know if you have any questions.
We also recently introduced a new editor rewards program! This program has given out everything from free movie tickets, event passes, Fandom swag and more! If you'd like to find out more information about this awesome program, or ask questions about the editor rewards program, I recommend you check out this blog post!
Let me know if I can answer any questions you may have on either of these great announcements!
Hey DaHumorist, Charlie from Fandom here with more good news to bring you! We announced the other day the official Fandom Discord server! What I know:
I know that if my admin power is abused, I will be stripped my title of admin and I will not beg for it back nor complain about my demotion. If I do receive a demotion, I shall continue working on articles.
Grammar and writing skills:
I am still working very hard on my grammar and writing skills and I do try hard correcting grammar on random articles.
I am active every day (unless very busy) and I am willing to keep working on articles.
I, Cinnamoh solemnly swear that I shall obey the rules of Fandom and the rules of The Office Wiki.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me on twitter or reply!
Hello. Sorry for being a burden towards you. But... uh... I'm gonna apply for adminship on this wiki. Since you are the founder, and the recent bureaucrat that signed in on this wiki (giving more of a liability towards this app). I know the first thing that you are going to think "This user just joined today, and only has 8 edits. Why should I give this user adminship?" Well. The reason why I am requesting adminship is that this site actually needs a lot more administrators who would actually do care on giving aide to this wiki. Since, of course, I joined today - the edits that I have undid/contributed are quite good edits. Preventing article vandalism/the homepage vandalism and keeping guard of all of the stuff that has been going on around this wiki. Sure, I just joined today, but this wiki is quite inactive on administrators. So, this is just quite a simple request on just preventing vandals from destroying the good, decent, content from this wiki and replacing it with utter destruction for their own amusement. So, with all due in retrospect, can I have admin rights?
