Members of the Autoconfirmed group[1] have additional privileges compared to normal Users.
What are Autoconfirmed users able to do?[]
- Edit semi-protected pages.
- Move pages.
- Perform CAPTCHA-triggering actions without having to go through the CAPTCHA.
How can one get Autoconfirmed rights?[]
Autoconfirmed rights are not manually given; instead, users automatically become Autoconfirmed after being on FANDOM for four days. This measure exists because newly created accounts are sometimes used to vandalize pages. However, since they are not Autoconfirmed, those accounts will not be able to edit some pages, move pages, and edit at a high rate, so as to help prevent vandalism.
Tags[]
Dunderpedia uses a number of user tags to signify who is Autoconfirmed and who is not. The "--" tag denotes users who are not yet Autoconfirmed, while the "--" tag is for users who are Autoconfirmed but have not made enough edits to merit the "--" tag.
Footnotes[]
- ↑ Global User-Groups affect all Wikis on the FANDOM network. An Autoconfirmed user on this Wiki will be an Autoconfirmed user on every Wiki you visit.
