Alan is a character played by Robert Bagnell in the television series The Office. Not to be confused with occasionally mentioned character Allen.
Season 3[]
Alan is Kelly's neighbor. In the episode The Convention, Kelly goes on a double date with Ryan and sets Pam up with Alan. Despite being a cartoonist, and therefore sharing an interest in art with Pam, they didn't click due to Alan being very dull.
